### Legal framework

As an ordinary rental contract under Turkish Code of Obligations (TBK) arts. 299 et seq., agricultural equipment rental is not subject to a written-form requirement; the parties' mutual consent forms the contract. Nevertheless, a written document is essential for proof and dispute avoidance.
