The problem we solve

In Türkiye, rental contracts are typically set up either on paper by hand or by printing an Excel template and signing it. By the time the heavy equipment arrives on-site, the vehicle reaches the customer, or the venue is needed for the event, the contract is often not yet ready. Even when ready, its content circulates between parties — photocopies, photos, WhatsApp, email. Which version is final gets lost. Signatures are disputed afterward. Damage reports go missing.

Akitle replaces every link in this chain with a digital, verifiable, audit-trailed flow. Template ready, sharing a single link, signature in the browser, archive automatic.

Our legal framework

Akitle operates within Turkish Code of Obligations (TBK) arts. 299 et seq. (rental contracts) and Turkish Code of Civil Procedure (HMK) art. 199 (document) / art. 202 (beginning of written evidence). Our contracts are binding between parties. Personal data is processed under KVKK 6698 (Turkish data protection law); the database is hosted in the EU member state of Ireland (Convex eu-west-1).

Akitle does not claim its output constitutes 'secure electronic signature' under Turkish Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 art. 4 or 'conclusive deed' under HMK art. 205/2. Stating this limit transparently helps our users approach the product with accurate expectations. Details in Terms of Service § 7 and § 9.

Our philosophy

Three principles guide us:

• Transparency — product framing referenced to legislation, not marketing claims.
• Operational simplicity — the renter doesn't install an app, create an account, or take training.
• Data ownership — each company's data is isolated; never shared with advertising or marketing partners.

Data security and company location

Akitle is headquartered in Türkiye. Production infrastructure runs in Convex eu-west-1 (Ireland, EU). Payments are processed via iyzico; card details are not stored at Akitle. Contract PDFs are sealed with SHA-256; tampering can be detected later.

Contract and audit-trail data are retained under TBK art. 146 (10-year general statute of limitations) and TTK art. 82 (10 years for commercial documents). Detailed data categories, legal bases, and your rights are in our Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure pages.
