- Is an online-signed rental contract valid?
- Yes. It is binding between the parties and qualifies as evidence under HMK art. 199. An Akitle signature is not a qualified electronic signature under Law No. 5070, but it carries strong evidentiary value alongside an audit trail with IP, device info, and a timestamp.
- Is a notary required for a rental contract?
- No. Notarisation is not a validity requirement under TBK art. 299 et seq.; the contract is formed between the parties by signature. A notary increases evidentiary weight and is advisable in special cases such as an eviction undertaking.
- Do I need to report the contract to e-Devlet?
- For residential lease contracts, reporting via e-Devlet is possible and optional. For workplace or equipment rentals, e-Devlet reporting is out of scope.
